All phases were planned, owned, and implemented in a responsible manner. Six steps, no ambiguity and a launch that was just as planned.
Discovery & Requirement Gathering
Before the first screen, we traced all of the user roles, course types, exam flows, and compliance needs. The aim was to ensure the architecture was about real workflows, rather than a list of features on paper.
UI/UX Design
Our philosophy was to create wireframes and high-fidelity screens based on the concept of clarity under pressure. There is not enough time for food handlers, restaurant managers, and compliance staff to slow down, so the interface needed to work with them as they move at their own pace.
Development
All four platforms - the student portal, exam engine, certificate system, admin dashboard and subscription layer were developed simultaneously. Sprinting weekly ensured that all layers were in sync and when it was time to link them up, there were no surprises.
Quality Assurance & Testing
All exam flows, certificate triggers, payment flows, and role-based permissions were stress tested on various browsers and devices. We also tested failed scenarios, such as failed sessions, payment attempts, and failed edge cases user states, as that's where real trust is built or lost.
Deployment & Launch
We configured the server, performed all the checks, and delivered a documented admin panel to the Gourmet X team, allowing them to have complete control from day one, without our presence in the room.
Post-Launch Support
We ran and monitored the platform during the first weeks and solved the issues rapidly, which helped the platform run exactly as designed while the Gourmet X team continued building its user base.
